From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Hao Lei (born November 1, 1978) is a Chinese actress. She was born in Tonghua, Jilin. Hao first gained international prominence as Yu Hong, the heroine in Lou Ye's 2006 film about the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, Summer Palace. In November 2010, she won a Taiwan Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Chung Mong-hong's film The Fourth Portrait.
