Robbie Lawler
Robert Glenn "Robbie" Lawler is an American professional mixed martial artist and current UFC Welterweight Champion. A professional competitor since 2001, Lawler is also a former EliteXC Middleweight Champion, and has formerly competed in Strikeforce, PRIDE, and the IFL. He is currently #4 in official UFC pound-for-pound rankings and ranked as the #1 welterweight and #6 pound-for-pound fighter in the world by Sherdog. He is perhaps best known for his 2015 title defense against Rory MacDonald (declared Fight of the Year of 2015 by MMAFighting.com and Sherdog.com, among others), a match some refer to as one of the greatest world title fights of all time.
