Liryc Dela Cruz

Liryc Dela Cruz (born January 15, 1992) is a Filipino artist and independent filmmaker from Southern Philippines. His works were selected and screened in film festivals and galleries in Locarno, Portugal, Madrid, Paris, Berlin, Thailand, Taiwan, Vienna, New York, and South Korea. Themes reflected in his films include mysticism, nature, Filipino folklore and mythology, poetry, post-colonial history, memories and spirituality. He's one of the collaborators of Filipino filmmaker, Lav Diaz. Dela Cruz was also recognized by Kidlat Tahimik as one of the new gems of Philippine Cinema.
